Sometimes they are serious, most of the time they are not.</li>\n<li>You may need medical treatment if you get some of the side effects.</li>\n<li>Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you:</li>\n<li>Lactic acidosis which can lead to coma</li>\n<li>Digestive problems such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and loss of appetite</li>\n<li>Change in
